02

Report Interpretation Support

Structured review of microbiome and stool test reports for educational purposes, plus practitioner education on interpreting findings so they can be communicated clearly to patients and integrated into broader clinical decision-making.

03

Practitioner Coaching Session

One-on-one coaching for practitioners on how to effectively read a microbiome test report of their choice — building practical skills for interpretation and clinical application.

About

Shirin Treadwell, M.S.

Founder of Microbiome Coaching, LLC. Former researcher at the National Cancer Institute and National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases. Co-founder of Sun Genomics.

Early in my career I worked alongside leading investigators in cancer immunotherapy at the NIH. Even then it was clear that a fundamental piece of human biology — the microbiome — was largely missing from the clinical conversation.

In 2017 I joined a gut-health company focused on personalized probiotics and began reviewing microbiome data at scale. Over the following years I mentored practitioners on how to choose appropriate tests, interpret dense reports, and avoid both under- and over-treatment.

I founded Microbiome Coaching, LLC to continue that work under the Microbiome Mentor practice: giving clinicians a rigorous, practical partner for integrating microbiome insights into patient care without the noise and marketing that so often accompany the field.
